Berean: Encounter
Encountering the Word Bible School is a Layman’s based Bible School designed to help anyone who desires to increase their knowledge and grow in God’s Word. In this school there will be three tracks of study available from which to choose. Each track has it’s own unique style.
Track One, “Mastering the New Testament,” will be geared for those who want a better understanding of the New Testament. The process will begin with the Gospels and continue through the Book of Revelation. Persons finishing this track will have a knowledge of each of the authors and they will know the purpose behind what they wrote. They will know to whom the letters were being written.
This class will give the student understanding of Christ’s life and how the church began and continued after His death. It concludes with the future of what we can expect as a Christian.
Track Two is programed for those who are interested in different topics not readily taught in the average church setting and will be titled “I’d Like To Know.” It will discuss things like: science, religions, and biblical topics such as heaven, and Satan our enemy. These classes will give the student a better understanding of those “I’d Like To Know” topics.
Track Three will be for those who want to grow and mature in different areas of their lives and is appropriately called, “Personal Growth.” This track will challenge people to learn such things as overcoming adversity and solving life’s problems. You will get a taste of “what the spiritual gifts can do for you,” “how you can live in righteousness,” and “how you can build a firm foundation in faith.”
All of these classes are free to those who desire to take them. Students may purchase the text if they so choose.
