1.Being hungry to learn and change. (Matt 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.)
   2.Having a mind that meditates on the Word and prospers from it. (Ps 1:1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.)
   3.Having a discipline mind and will that agrees with the Spirit. (Romans 8:6For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.)
   4.Focusing on godly thoughts and attitudes. (Matt 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.)
   5.Confessing your faults and seeking change. (James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.)
   6.Having a mind that is set on the things of heaven and God. ( Col 3:1-10)
   7.Having control over your emotions and feelings. (II Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.)
   8.Having a happy and positive attitudes toward life. (Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.)
