Helps Ministries
The Helps Ministries encompass a diverse group of activities that all have one thing in common, they help Trinity's members and our community. From Trinity Trams to the Outreach Center, Greeters to our Parking Lot Attendants; these ministries teach and serve the Body of Christ.
If you have a specific need that is not addressed by any of our "age" specific ministries, many times you will find a ministry here that is just what you're looking for.
These ministries can provide some of the most rewarding experiences for those looking to help their neighbor as Jesus spoke about in the parable of the Good Samaritan.

Adults who participate in the Greeter Ministry make sure that everyone who attends a service at Trinity is welcomed at the door in a warm, friendly and courteous manner. Being greeted in this manner helps to enhance everyone's worship experience.
Greeters are at the doors a half hour before service begins until 15 minutes after it has started. Those who participate in this ministry are following the Lord in Proverbs 18:24 which says, "A man who hath friends must show himself friendly." Greeters take the first step in this spiritual principle.

TheĀ Grief Share ministry provides support to adults who are experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one. It consists of a weekly support group that views a series of 13 videos entitled Grief Share that focus on grief recovery, followed by an opportunity for discussion of the content of the video and a time of personal sharing.
The Grief Share Ministry hopes to provide an atmosphere of care and concern with solid, reliable Christ-centered teaching.

The First Responder Team (FRP) serves the ministry and the people of Trinity Assembly so that the physical conditions of those attending services are appropriately ministered to when needs arise. This allows for our services to continue flowing in decency and order, thus enhancing the move of God's Spirit and the ministry of God's Word.
In order to be a part of the First Responder Medical Team at Trinity Assembly, one must be an active and faithful member of Trinity Assembly; complete an Adult Volunteer Application; maintain an overall lifestyle, character, and reputation that is above reproach; and be officially approved and appointed by the Pastoral Staff. It is also required that each person on the First Responder Team hold the certification of LPN, RN, Physician, EMT, or Paramedic.

The Usher ministry falls within the Helps Ministry and is comprised of men who are called to serve others during services and functions. These men gather prior to each service for a time of preparation by praying together for various needs and for the services. The Ushers serve the congregation by helping attendees find open seats, taking the offering, serving communion, and directing alter calls.
Ushers are easily recognized due to the common color jackets they wear. In addition, they position themselves in the isles ready to greet and assist. Serving others is a great joy, and these men get their reward by being a servant and a blessing. Their value is evident when one recognizes that all things at Trinity are done in order and with excellence. This doesn't happen by accident, but in major part through the dedication and faithfulness of the men serving as Trinity Ushers.

Trinity Trams, our modified 8 person stretch golf carts, are available to everyone needing help getting to or from their cars in the parking lot. This is especially helpful during inclement weather. Tram drivers also assist members and visitors in taking their children to the appropriate classes.
The Trinity Tram Ministry has wonderful people who go out of their way to serve you and make your time at Trinity Assembly a joyful time. The trams are operational for every regularly scheduled service. It is our hearts desire to server you.

The Resource Room of Trinity Assembly is the supplies and materials center for all related activities of the Christian Education Departments.
These activities can include but are not limited to CrossTraining, LIFE Small Groups, Wednesday Night Ministries: Royal Rangers, Missionettes, Little Champions; Vacation Bible School, Hallelujah Night, Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps, and any other ministry needing crafts or office supplies.
It provides assistance to ministry leaders with all project related activities such as laminating, copying, snacks, and assistance with gathering craft materials.
The vision of those who work in the Resource Room is to provide all teachers and support staff the assistance and materials they need to make their jobs easier. Our Resource Room volunteers have found that it is a great place to meet, greet and be involved in ministry.
Trinity's Resource Room is open on Wednesday nights from 6:15 until 8:00 pm and on Sunday evenings from 5:15 until 6:00 pm.

The smiling faces that you see when you first walk into church in the morning are some of the most helpful people you will meet at Trinity. Workers greet people and answer their questions about the activities going on at Trinity, help people find a class, and help people sign up for activities.
The Information Center staff also meets to have fellowship time once a quarter with spouses or guests. This is one of the most important ministries at Trinity because it informs people, helps our guests, and makes everyone feel welcome and informed. The most important thing you need for this ministry is a smile and willingness to serve!

Mighty Conquerors - Special Needs Ministry
Jesus said in Matthew 18:5, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me."
Mighty Conquerors is a new Trinity ministry that is designed to teach special needs children the Good News of Jesus and allow for their families to attend church services.
Mighty Conquerors will utilize a "buddy system" called Angel Care Providers to work one-on-one with these wonderful kids. We need servants, who have a heart for special needs children and their families, who can serve as Angel Care Providers during Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. We will also need those who can be on a substitute list to fill-in when needed.
Please sign-up at the Information Center if you are interested in serving in this ministry, or if you have questions, please contact Melissa Palk at mpalk@12tn.net or Rose Brown at rbrown@trinityalgood.com.
