Children's Ministries
The Childrens Ministries at Trinity Assembly minister to kids as young as a few weeks old in our Little Champions class and as old as 5th grade in ourKidzChurch ministry. Jesus said in Mark 9:37 "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." All our children's ministries focus on teaching the children about Jesus love and how He died for them. There is no greater calling.
Sunday morning Children's Ministries include:
- Little Champions: 0 mos - 4 yrs
- Jr. Kids Church: 5 yrs - 1st grade
- KidzChurch: 2nd grade - 5th grade

Yearly Classroom Fee: $15

Trinity's Little Champions program ministers to children from newborns to 3 years olds. With staff available during every service to provide care for your child, Little Champions has classrooms for ages 0-11 months, 18-23 months, 2 years, and 3 years located downstairs from the main sanctuary. We also provide a room for nursing mothers upstairs in the main foyer.
The Little Champions Ministry is designed to instill the Love of God and the Faithfulness of our Heavenly Father in the lives of infants and toddlers by teaching children their first lessons about God and to prepare them to receive from God.
From the time your child enters Little Champions as a newborn, we teach him/her in simple five-point lessons who Jesus is, Jesus loves him/her and the Bible is God's Word. While receiving tender care and comfort, your child will learn God's love through God's people.
When children reach the toddler classes, we teach them God's word through appropriate games, songs, stories, and crafts. They learn Bible stories about Creation, Jonah and the Whale, Noah and the Ark, David and Goliath, and many others. They also learn a new Bible verse every month that they love to repeat to their families.
The Bible says "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the One who sent me," Mark 9:37 (NIV). We welcome your child to the exciting ministry of Little Champions. Come check us out!

Past VBS's have been so much fun that Trinity now has a morning and an evening VBS to accomodate more children (numbers average 300+ per day).
All the kids involved in VBS pounce into God's Word and are never again the same. Children will explore amazing Bible stories, and they'll take part in Daily Challenges that encourage them to apply Bible truths to everyday life.
Children sing and learn fun motions to upbeat Bible songs related to the concepts they'll be learning that day. They sample tasty treats, go on adventures, make delightful projects during craft time, experience physical activities on the Trinity Playground, and visit the Camp Store to load up on all sorts of goodies.

Trinity Children's Choir(TCC) is for 1st through 6th graders. TCC provides an opportunity for kids to learn God's Word, and teach it to others through the performance of two musicals each year in the Spring and Fall. Songs are put to motion to create a musical that historically packs the house for both Saturday and Sunday performances.
We have a great time and post sign-ups in the lobby of the main sanctuary. Seasonal rehearsals are held on Wednesday evening at 5:45 in the main Choir Rehearsal Room, with a few added rehearsals that are announced and scheduled closer to performance dates.

All girls, ages 4-18, are welcome, and we ensure that every girl will enjoy fulfilling friendships with each other as well as their leaders. We endeavor to build individual relationships with each girl sharing campouts, swimming, sleepovers, and a variety of outings.
Girls who work hard and complete all units achieve the highest honor, the Honor Star, at which time we have a celebration to acknowledge their achievements. Celebrations are held twice a year.
Mpact Girls meet every Wednesday night, at 7:00 p.m. for worship, Bible lessons, memory verses, games, and crafts. Our classes include age-specific classes that meet in the classrooms of the Annex Building, and the KidsChurch room, including...
- Rainbows Club (Girls & Boys, 4-years old)
- Noah's Ark provides an exciting theme for the Bible stories, crafts, full-color activity pages, and games for this preschool club. Rainbows add colorful animal badges to their vests as they complete requirements for the achievement program.
- Daisies (Girls K-5)
- Darcy, Diana, and Dorie (paper dolls) help Daisies make life applications from the Bible stories and principles they learn. Daisies earn colorful badges depicting these club characters as they complete requirements for the achievement program.
- Prims (Girls, 1st & 2nd grade)
- Megan, Carmen, Kim, and Tonya are characters who guide Prims through life-application stories as the girls learn biblical principles. The Discovery Box stores lesson-related objects to be displayed during lesson time to make learning even more fun. Prims earn colorful badges depicting these club characters as they complete requirements for the achievement program.
- Stars (Girls, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade)
- Girls make their way up the Stairway of the Stars achievement program as they complete units in the four worlds: The World of Truth (basic Christian doctrine), The World Around You (missions), The World About You (activities), and The World Within You (character development). Memorization, projects, and Bible reading are all a part of completing the achievement program as an Honor Star. Four-week units are supplemented with projects and Adventures.
- Friends (Girls, 6th grade)
- The Friends Club specializes in the pre-teen girl experience, and encourages leaders and parents of pre-teen girls to "Embrace the Friends Experience."
Trinity Assembly's Jr. Kids Church program is a unique opportunity to introduce children ages 5 years through 1st grade to a life in Christ. Using an experiential design to bring the Bible alive to our children, we teach various basic Christian principles to help them grow in the love of our Saviour.
Our Jr. Kids Church leaders endeavor to build a meaningful Christian relationship with every child, teaching them by example how to build their own relationship with our Lord Jesus. And learning in Jr. Kids Church is fun!
The children have fun in our Activity Centers with games, blocks, and art.
In our Home-Living Center we tie everything together. The children learn how to apply the Word of God at home, as well as in their lives.
In our Together Time we reinforce the Biblical principles taught in our Bible story time. As we spend time in praise and worship leaders have the opportunity to pray with our little people.
What a rewarding and rare opportunity we have to teach them about the love of Jesus. The Bible says: "When you receive one of these little ones, you receive Me. We receive our children in the name of Jesus and are responsible for laying the groundwork for teaching them that our Lord loves and cares for them. He has a plan for each and every one of them and wants them to come to know Him.
Jr. Kids Church meets Sunday mornings during both the 8:30 am and 10:30 am services.

Program workers pick-up children at area schools at 3:00 pm and bring them back to the church for the remainder of the afternoon. Employees provide the children with a snack, and when requested, offer help with their homework. During playtime, each child has the opportunity to play and interact with other children on the Trinity playground, or through video games, and other board games. Our goal is to provide a safe and Godly environment for the children, and offer love and ministry to them while they are in our care.
The After School Program meets in the Trinity Annex and playground, on West Wall St., in Algood. Hours of operation are daily from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. We follow the same schedule as the Putnam county School system; when schools are out, Trinity After School Program is not open. By law, the program is only allowed to have the children for three hours per day.

The world celebrates October 31st as Halloween, but at Trinity we celebrate it as Hallelujah Night.
By providing our community with a safe alternative to Halloween, Hallelujah Night has proven to be a tremendous outreach for Trinity.
Each year, more than 2,500 children and parents arrive to find games, prizes, food, drinks and TONS of candy - all of it offered free to them.
But it doesn't happen by itself. It takes many Trinity volunteers to work this event, being gracious hosts to our community. Volunteers serve throughout the evening -- serving food, manning children's games, overseeing inflatable games, and handing out candy. In addition, families will enjoy puppet skits and great music.
We've found that a little bit of hard work will reap tremendous rewards -- like the smiles and laughter of the children. And did we mention that the volunteers have a blast, too?
