Jason and Susan Yarbrough
We are blessed to have ministered together for over 30 years. Our goal in life is simply to be wherever God want us, doing whatever He wants us to do, and doing it to the best of our ability. We have been privileged to serve in a wide variety of ministry roles, including being worship pastors for 16 years in churches both large and small, executive pastors of a multi-campus church, and as lead pastors for many years. Most importantly, we believe that God’s best is yet to come!
For the past several years, we have served as lead pastors of Monterey Bay Christian Center, in Seaside, CA. God assigned us the task of revitalizing an aging church and we believe He has done a great work that willposition the church to be effective in its community for many years. Prior to this ministry assignment, we served as pastors of Real Life Church in the greater Sacramento, CA, area for over 10 years. This is the church (and associated Christian school) we started, and that Trinity Assembly financially partnered with so generously in 2006. Praise be to God, that church and school are still thriving today. Prior to 2006, we served as worship pastors in Texas, Tennessee, and Arizona.
Now, we believe God is changing our season, and we are excited about the opportunity to return “full circle” to Trinity, where God awakened the call in us to pastor over twenty years ago. Those of you who remember us best know that we have a deep passion for the presence of God and investing ourselves in the lives of others. We love our family, our friends, and we love serving the church. We are committed to making disciples who worship Jesus unreservedly and work for Him wholeheartedly in His Kingdom.
We are both ordained Assemblies of God ministers and are anticipating the future God has promised. We are blessed with three adult children, and one grandson. We sincerely thank you all for this opportunity to hear clearly what God is saying, and we look forward to being with you soon.
